Synopsis: In our passage today from 1 Corinthians, Paul sums up the Gospel of Jesus Christ in one sentence, “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, he was buried, and He was raised from the dead on the third day.” This Sunday we gather to worship the Lord our God, celebrate Christ’s resurrection, and our hope for eternal life. We also gather to proclaim our belief in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our hope and our salvation.
