Our passage today talks about how we get into the only place that really matters in life: heaven. Jesus warns us about wide paths that lead to destruction and false prophets; reminding us of the narrow gate and narrow path that leads us to heaven. We can try to sneak in, we can try to cut corners thinking that everything will be okay; but Jesus makes it very clear, there is no sneaking in, there is no easy way. There is only one way, there is only one choice and that is the narrow gate of confession in Jesus Christ, repenting and following His Word.
